Care
Take care of cork and it will take care of you! Salt water accelerates deterioration. After being on contact with salt water, briefly rinse with fresh water. Wipe cork clean using damp cloth, lukewarm water and plain soap. Afterwards, let it dry open air.

What the cork?!
Did you know the cork is the bark of a cork oak tree? The bark is harvested, without cutting a tree down, and extracted in a traditional manner once every 9 years. The bark regenerates, capturing 5x more carbon dioxide during the natural regeneration process than when the bark isn't harvested! The tree stays healthier and can live up to 100-150 year old!
